Mini Cabasa

These gorgeous silver beaded percussion instruments called Cabasa is originated from Africa and are commonly used in Latin-American music.

This instrument is constructed with loops of steel ball chain wrapped around a wide round piece of wood.

To make a sound, players hold with one and hand twist the beads around with the other. With a sound likened to a rattle snake, these instruments are great for getting both hands going working on baby and toddlers gross motor skills.
